Ndryshe nga inteligjenca tradicionale, e cila mat aft\u00ebsin\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb zgjidhur probleme ose p\u00ebr t\u00eb memorizuar informacion, metakognicioni p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebson nj\u00eb nivel m\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb: <strong>vet\u00ebdijen mbi proceset mendore dhe aft\u00ebsin\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u2019i drejtuar ato n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb nd\u00ebrgjegjshme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ekspert\u00ebt e ndajn\u00eb metakognicionin n\u00eb dy komponent\u00eb kryesor\u00eb: <strong>njohja metakognitive<\/strong> dhe <strong>rregullimi metakognitiv<\/strong>. Njohja metakognitive p\u00ebrfshin kuptimin e forcave dhe kufizimeve tona mendore \u2013 t\u00eb dish si m\u00ebson m\u00eb mir\u00eb, ku gabon dhe pse. Rregullimi metakognitiv, nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb, lidhet me <strong>planifikimin, monitorimin dhe vler\u00ebsimin e mendimit<\/strong>, duke e b\u00ebr\u00eb individin aktiv n\u00eb procesin e t\u00eb m\u00ebsuarit dhe vendimmarrjes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajo q\u00eb e b\u00ebn metakognicionin form\u00ebn m\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb t\u00eb inteligjenc\u00ebs \u00ebsht\u00eb fakti se ai <strong>bashkon inteligjenc\u00ebn njoh\u00ebse, kritike dhe emocionale<\/strong>. Nj\u00eb individ metakognitiv \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb gjendje t\u00eb analizoj\u00eb gabimet, t\u00eb p\u00ebrshtat\u00eb strategjit\u00eb, t\u00eb kontrolloj\u00eb impulsivitetin dhe t\u00eb marr\u00eb vendime t\u00eb bazuara n\u00eb reflektim, jo n\u00eb reagim t\u00eb menj\u00ebhersh\u00ebm.
